First off, let me say this family is so beautiful. Mary has poured so much into my life and I love seeing their family love Jesus. When she asked me to take some Christmas photos for her parents, I was thrilled. I hope you enjoy the sweetness. Mary and Cory were not in these pics, but hopefully soon we'll get some of the whole gang.

What started as an agreement to play in the snow for 10 minutes turned into an impromptu photo shoot with this handsome guy. He actually let me get some good shots and I was super happy with the results. He also found out he got a 4.0 GPA after his first semester in college. That's a good reason to smile!

My family has known Karen since before my parents were married, so to say we go back a ways is a bit of an understatement. When her precious husband, Ray, died suddenly 6 years ago, we mourned the loss of a beloved friend. To see her fall in love again was an amazing thing to watch and to have the honor to take pictures of their day - I was thrilled. They sought to honor God in every part and it was the perfect day.

I heard stories of this family all the time while growing up. I played in the nursery with the twins until I was 2. We happened to end up at the same church, 12 years later. Hadn't seen most of them for close to 5 years, but it was such an honor to capture some shots of their beautiful family.
